Created by Tom Defalco, Mike W. Barr, Terry Kavanaugh, Ron Lim, Jerry Bingham, and Mark Bagley The nature of Shriek's powers is unknown, as is their initial manifestation. She may be a mutant, or her powers may have been the result of the drugs, gunshot to the head, and Cloak's cape. Her powers may have already been there but were triggered by Cloak, which is what I believe. Shriek had an obsession with families. She wanted more than anything to have a loving family, and during "Maximum Carnage" she believed that Carnage was her husband and that Demogoblin, Doppelganger, and Carrion were her sons.
