National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. NTC is the training center for large-scale wargames conducted by the US military. It is manned by the 11th ACR who are on permanent duty as Opposition Forces, the bad guys. Each cycle at the NTC a series of brigade or division sized forces will rotate for a training evolution in the Californian desert to train up in live fire exercises against real opponents on open grounds. These engagements are usually won by the OPFOR who have great knowledge of terrain and due to the amount of time in the field have advantages of experience etc. 20
National Teleregistration Center. A nationwide toll-free telephone number (1-800-462-9029) that applicants can use to apply for disaster assistance.
National Training Center. Delivers AHA training within the United States and its territories. The delivery of this training is accomplished by establishing a national network of TCs or Training Sites. The National Training Center signs an agreement with the AHA and is responsible for the quality of all training the NTC delivers.
