A (usually homemade) camera which uses the method of exposure to light through a pinhole to form an image upon film. The image is formed when light enters the pinhole, and is projected upside-down onto the negative.
Perfect for covert surveillance, this quarter sized camera is nearly impossible to detect. With it's small size comes limited abilities though, primarily a small lens and limited zoom capabilities.

an optical device using a small hole to project an image into a darkened box or room.
A simple camera with a small hole instead of a lens, sometimes made with a pin. Can be easily constructed from shoe boxes or biscuit tins, and with experimentation can produce images of surprisingly high optical quality.
Camera without a lens, but with a small hole of about 0.02 inches (0.5mm) or less.
The simplest camera you can use to take a photograph. A pinhole camera is a closed light-tight box with a pinhole on one side. Light enters through the hole and projects an inverted and reversed image on photographic film or paper placed inside the box, opposite the hole. Close
A camera with a fixed aperture made by poking a hole in a piece of metal. Usually made from a small enclosed container such as an oatmeal box or small tin.
camera without a lens which uses a very small hole pierced in one end to allow light to pass through and form an image on the back of the camera which can be covered by film.
Camera with a tiny aperture that forms an image without use of a lens.
A pinhole camera is a camera without a conventional glass lens. An extremely small hole in a very thin material can focus light by confining all rays from a scene through a single point. In order to produce a reasonably clear image, the aperture has to be a small pinhole on the order of 0.5 mm (0.02 inches) or less.
