Definitions for "Quality circles"
A type of work group, popular in Japan and the USA, where small groups of employees from the same work areas meet regularly to identify, analyse and solve quality and other work problems.
Quality improvement or self-improvement study groups composed of a small number of employees (10 or fewer) and their supervisor. Quality circles originated in Japan, where they are called quality control circles.
Brainstorming sessions involving employees of a firm whose goal is improving processes and process capability.
