Helps pay for doctors' services, outpatient care, and other services that are not covered by Part A insurance.
Coverage which helps pay for medical and surgical services by physicians, providers of service, and suppliers, as well as certain other health benefits such as ambulance transportation, durable medical equipment, outpatient hospital services, and independent laboratory services; designated to complement the coverage provided by Part A of the program; beneficiaries pay a premium and are responsible for an annual deductible.
