Human Computer Interaction. The study of how people interact with computers or other forms of technology. HCI specialists range from behaviorologists to software engineers. HCI is most often referred to in terms of hardware and system level software, like the operating system.
For Bluetooth, the Host Controller Interface (HCI) driver packages the higher level components to communicate with the hardware.
Provides a command interface to the LMP and Baseband layers. See Specs page.
An interface used by a Bluetooth Host Controller to communicate with a Bluetooth device. Usually transported over UART (H4), USB (H2) or RS-232 (H3). FTS4BT can sniff the HCI interface.

HCI stands for "Human Computer Interaction." It is the study of how people relate to electronic tools and interfaces.
Human Computer Interface. A discipline concerned with the study, design, construction and implementation of human-centric interactive computer systems. A user interface, such as a GUI, is how a human interacts with a computer, and HCI goes beyond designing screens and menus that are easier to use and studies the reasoning behind building specific functionality into computers and the long-term effects that systems will have on humans.
Human computer interface – The process by which users interact with computers.
Human Computer Interface. Human Computer Interface hardware and software allowing information exchange between the user and the computer.
Human-Computer Interaction, a discipline concerned with studying the relatioship between people and machines.
Human-computer interaction is a discipline concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use and with the study of major phenomena in the interactive relationship.
An acronym for Human Computer Interaction, a broad discipline enabling improvement and implementation of more human-like interactive computer systems. It's the study of how humans interact with computers, reasons behind building specific functionality into computers, and the long-term effects systems will have on humans.
See Human Computer Interface.
Human Computer Interface. The hardware, software and physical arrangement allowing an Operator to interact with a processor.
Human Computer Interaction, (HCI) is the study on how human interact with computers to the extent as to whether they are develop successfully to interact with humans.
HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) is the study of how people interact with computers and to what extent computers are or are not developed for successful interaction with human beings. A significant number of major corporations and academic institutions now study HCI.
Human Computer Interaction Describes the interaction between humans and computers
Short for Human Computer Interface.
