A U-turn in driving refers to performing a 180 degree rotation in order to reverse direction of travel. It is called a "U-turn" because the maneuver looks like the letter U. In some areas, the maneuver is illegal, while in others it is treated as a more ordinary turn, merely extended.
"U-Turn" was the fourth international single taken from Usher's 2001 album 8701. The song was a dance track produced by Jermaine Dupri and was a departure from the previous two smooth ballad singles that had been released from the album. The track reached the top 10 in Australia, the top 20 in the UK and Switzerland and was a top 40 hit in the Netherlands.
U-Turn is an album by Brian McKnight released in 2003.
