Definitions for "School-to-Work"
An effort to provide all students high-level skills for the future and connect their education to the work world.
A system of school-based learning, work-based learning, internships or other connecting activities; created by partnerships among educators, employers, government, and economic development agencies for students to explore career options in meaningful real-world settings.
Activities and programs, available to all students, that link classroom and work-based learning to career exploration and work experience. Options include shadowing, co-op, internship, service learning and youth apprenticeship.
