An iris control used to set the circuit within the auto-iris to a desired video level. A higher setting will let more light in and a lower setting will close the iris therefor allowing less light in.
The level control on some interface products is similar to the contrast control on a data monitor. It can either increase or decrease the output signal level from the interface to a data monitor or projector. This results in greater or less contrast in the picture.
The MD recorder will set the record level automatically, or you can set it manually. A proper recording level ensures that your recording will be as free of distortion and noise as possible. Most MD recorders now offer level control for digital recording, as well as analog.
Main iris control. Used to set the auto-iris circuit to a video level desired by the user. After set-up, the circuit will adjust the iris to maintain this video level in changing lighting conditions. Turning the control towards High will open the iris, towards Low will close the iris.
Used to set the auto-iris circuit to a video level desired by the user. Turning the level potentiometer towards the HIGH position will open the iris allowing more light to pass through the lens, towards the LOW will close the iris allowing less light to pass through the lens.
