Ian Stewart, FRS (b. 1945), is a professor of mathematics at University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
Ian Stewart (born January 15, 1949) is a Scottish athlete. Stewart won the bronze medal in the Men's 5000 metres at the 1972 Summer Olympics (a race won by Lasse Viren with Mohammed Gammoudi second and Steve Prefontaine fourth) and later placed seventh in 1976 Summer Olympics, also in the 5,000 metres.
