A site originally designed to hold all of the internet's pointless chatter. It soon got overwhelmed and now pointless chatter can be found almost everywhere. There was a time the Digg site even made sense. sigh

Digg is a community-based news website with an emphasis on technology and science articles, recently expanding to a variety of other categories such as politics and videos. It combines social bookmarking, blogging, and syndication with a form of non-hierarchical, democratic editorial control. News stories and websites are submitted by users, and then promoted to the front page through a user-based ranking system.
