Produced from 1922 to 1939, this not particularly reliable gas operated machine gun equipped French aircraft until 1935 when it was replaced by the MAC 1934 except in naval aircraft. It worked by gas operation and was fed from a 100 or 250 belt. The 7.5mm was standard ordnance during World War I but proved to be too light for combat in World War II.
