An old term meaning basically "outsider", or "one who is not a Witch". Not used as frequently today.

A Masonic term which means intruder or one who accidently enters where he is not wanted. This is not to be confused with the word eavesdropper or one who deliberately tries to overhear and see what is not meant for his eyes and ears.

a non-Witch. Formerly used in a very derogatory manner. Still used in Masonic Ritual to indicate the non initiate and/or pretender to "real craft". Not often used today among most Witches.
