Definitions for "Course Load"
The minimum aggregated EFTSL (Equivalent Full Time Student Load) value of units of study required to complete the course of study.
Total credit hours of the courses a student takes.
The number of the classes a student takes per semester. In order to keep your full time student status, you have to take at least 12 credits (about four courses) per semester. You cannot exceed 18.5 credits unless you pay $500 for every extra credit and your adviser agrees to such a course load.
