Chingford is a town in London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is a suburban development situated 10 miles (16.1 km) north east of Charing Cross. To the north and east of Chingford is Epping Forest and the boundary with Essex.

Chingford was a parliamentary constituency centred on the town of Chingford in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1974 until it was abolished for the 1997 general election.
