Type of single shot Airsoft, normally on 'sniper' type rifles.
A rifle that requires the cocking of the bolt to load another round into the chamber.
A firearm in which the breech closure is: in line with the bore at all times; manually reciprocated to load, unload and cock; and is locked in place by breech bolt lugs engaging abutments usually in the receiver. There are two principle types of bolt actions, i.e., the turn bolt and the straight pull type.
This is a type gun, which may or may not be a rifle. The action is the bolt working being loaded or unloaded in a single shot or multiple gun.
The movement in a gun which is initiated by the action in the breech.
A rifle term. The user ejects the spent round and brings a new round up from the internal magazine by pulling back on an external knob which is called a bolt.
A type of reloading action (single shot, manual reload) A Bolt action is commonly found in accurate long-range real-steel rifles. It is desirable because the bullet is held securely inside the rifle while firing, providing a small but notable accuracy increase. To reload the bolt action rifle after a shot, the bolt must traditionally be pulled back manually by the shooter allowing the removal of the old bullet case. The shooter then pushes the bolt forwards again, loading a fresh bullet in to the breech.
The two main types of bolt action are the turn bolt and straight pull. The bolt action is manually operated by means of a steel rod or handle-like assembly that contains the means to lock a cartridge into the barrel or chamber (located at the rear of the chamber into which the cartridge or propellant is inserted), the firing pin, and the mechanism to extract and eject the spent cartridge case.
A type of gun, usually, but not always a rifle, which is loaded and unloaded by means of a bolt. It can be either a single shot, or a multi shot gun.
A bolt-action firearm is typically a rifle in which the opening and closing of the breech is controlled manually by a bolt.
