Definitions for "AVERAGE DEMAND"
The energy demand for a given location over a period of time. For example, the number of kilowatt-hours used in a 24-hour period, divided by 24 hours, tells the average demand for that location in that time.
The total amount of energy consumed during a specified interval divided by the number of hours in that same interval.
The measure of the total of energy loads placed by customers on a system divided by the time period over which the demands are incurred.
