A turbulent blend of unsorted pyroclastic material (mostly fine-grained) mixed with high-temperature gases ejected explosively from a fissure or crater.
A flow or deposit of (usually) silicic volcanic ash as a result of an explosive eruption.
A turbulent mixture of gas and rock fragments ejected violently from a crater or fissure. Also called a pyroclastic flow.
