Definitions for "Wall sheathing"
Sheets of plywood or wood planking used to cover the wall framework of a house.
The material used to cover the outside surface of the wall framing that provides lateral and shear support to the wall as well as a nailing surface for the exterior siding.
Plywood sheets, usually 4'x8', which are nailed to wall studs on outside. Exterior siding is applied over wall sheathing.
