Definitions for "Termination fee"
Also called a cancellation fee, it is the penalty imposed by the service provider on a customer if they decide to terminate their service contract before its expiry date. The termination fee varies with each service provider and plan but is usually either a flat fee and/or the remaining minimum monthly costs owing on the contract.
