Technical and Further Education. Technical and Further Education Institutes (TAFE) are publicly funded Registered Training Organisation (RTOs) which can provide a range of VET training and assessment services, including the training component for New Apprenticeships. TAFEs offer off-the-job training for apprentices, complete courses for full-time and part-time students and also work with employers to deliver training on-the-job. TAFEs also work with schools to support and / or provide VET in Schools programs.
