Satiety.
(say-she-AY-shun) The feeling of satisfaction and fullness that occurs during a meal and halts eating. Satiation determines how much food is eaten during a meal.

An internal process that makes a reversal increasingly likely with the passage of time and which itself leads to an eventual reversal in the absence of situational change. Imbalances in the rapidity of such a process as between a metamotivational state and its opposite may explain to at least some extent the dominance of one state over another.
