Definitions for "Rushing"
Occurs when a rower moves on their seat too quickly along the tracks into the catch position. The boat will lose the feeling that it is gliding, or "running out." Rushing is sometimes called "negative ratio."

In RTS s, rushing is a strategy used to overwhelm your opponent early in a game. Examples of rushing are military rushing (where you train military units as fast as possible and send them to the enemy's base) and tech rushing (where you research technology as fast as possible to get access to heavy-duty units).
A combined attack by some or all players of the team in possession of the puck.
A term referring to players building units and attacking early in the game (or early for that specific unit). "Grunt rushes" refer to building basic units and attacking an opponent's town early in the game. More advanced rushes include getting flyers or powerful units earlier than you would normally see them, but this requires Teching.
