The distance between bead seat to bead seat at beat seat radius.
The diameter of the rim bead seats that support a tire, normally indicated in whole numbers in inches for passenger cars.
The diameter at the intersection of the bead seat and the flange.  (See Tire and Rim Association Year Book.)  Nominal rim diameter (i.e., 14, 14, 16.5, etc.) is commonly used.
