The time it takes for a dynamics processing device (such as a compressor, limiter or expander) to return the processed signal to 63% of its original (unprocessed) level.
The time interval from coil de-energization to the opening or change over of the reed contact. Where not otherwise stated, the functioning time of the reed contact in question is taken as its initial functioning time, not including contact bounce.
In a mercury displacement relay; The amount of time that passes when power is removed from the coil, until the contacts of a normally open unit reopen, or when contacts of a normally closed unit recloses.
