A sorority member who leads a recruitment group. During recruitment they disaffiliate from their sorority so that they will not bias the potential new members. Formerly known as rho chi's, the new official term is Sigma Rho Chi (Sorority Recruitment Counselor). Many campuses have their own term, such as Pi Chi (Panhellenic Counselor), Rho Gamma (Recruitment Guide), Rho Alpha (Recruitment Advisor), Gamma Chi (Greek Counselor), Greek Life Guide, Alpha Chi, Pi Rho Chi etc etc.
An upper class member from a fraternity or sorority chosen and trained to assist during Formal Recruitment events and to advise potential new members throughout the process.

A sorority woman who has disaffiliated from her individual chapter during formal recruitment to assist the prospective members. Recruitment Counselors, or Rho Gammas, are a very special group of women chosen through an interview process by members of Panhellenic. They represent the sororities to those who are interested in joining. The recruitment counselor is there to give support, guide those interested through the recruitment process, answer questions, and share experiences and/or just to listen.
A sorority member who has disaffiliated herself from her chapter during Formal Membership Recruitment. She is specially trained to help Potential New Members and answer any questions they may have about sorority membership.
