Low, crummy, uncoordinated cards. A ragged flop is one unlikely to hit anyone.
Cards below a ten value. If the flop is 258 it is said rags flopped.
Bad cards. In Texas Holdem, 72 are the worst "rag" starting cards.

Low community cards that ought to have no effect on the outcome of a hand.
Cards generally not worth playing. For example: 2,7 in Texas Hold'em.

Cards generally not worth playing. RAISE: To increase the amount of a previous wager. This increase must meet certain specifications, depending on the game, to reopen the betting and count toward a limit on the number of raises allowed.
