Some competitions ask for proof that you have purchased an item to be entered into their competition. This is usually in the form of a receipt that you have to send off. Sometimes it may be a bar-code, ring pull or token from the pack. If you want to enter more than one competition that requires a till receipt either ask the cashier to put the items through separately or if you are too embarrassed to do this (or if there is a long queue) go back on another occasion and purchase the item.
