a device that uses differential air pressure to activate an electric switch in a predetermined fashion
a lower power component, and a compressor is a high power component
A device on an air compressor that stops the motor and relieves air pressure in the pump and transfer tube when the air pressure in the tank reaches the kick-out pressure. As compressed air is used and the pressure level in the tank drops to the kick-in pressure, the pressure switch restarts the motor automatically without warning and the pump resumes compressing air.
A device, equipped with a specific diaphragm or piston sensing element, that detects a change in pressure and closes or opens one or more electrical switching elements when the set point is reached.
An instrument that senses a change in pressure and actuates an electrical switching element when a pre-determined pressure point is reached.
An electric switch activated by air pressure. This device detects air pressure exerted on it through a flexible tube connecting it to part of a water tub. When activated, this switch then opens an electrical circuit stopping further filling of the machine. May also be called a WATER PRESSURE SWITCH, WATER LEVEL CONTROL.(Added: 21-Sep-2001 Rating: 0 Votes: 0)
A switch operated by a change in pressure.
An electrical switch controlled by fluid pressure.
A switch used in pool heaters which opens when the flow rate is insufficient for safe heater operation. This disrupts the circuit in the heater, preventing it from firing.
An electrical switch actuated by the pressure in a pressure tank. When the pressure drops to a low set-point (cut-in) it turns a pump on. At a high point (cutout) it turns the pump off.
