is a type of distortion caused due to non uniform scanning in the monitor which makes the picture to bulge inwards.
A lens aberration or defect that causes straight lines to bow inward toward the center of the image.
The opposite of barrel distortion; straight lines are bowed in toward the middle to resemble the sides of a pincushion; present in smal amounts in some telephoto and telephoto-zoom lenses.
