A throw taken by an offensive player from the four-metre line with only the goalkeeper defending. Awarded when a defending player commits a foul inside the four-metre line.
A throw taken from the four-meter line by a member of the attacking team, with the goalkeeper as the only defender.
A seven-metre shot at goal defended only by the goalkeeper and awarded for a serious offence or because the defence illegally spoiled a clear chance to score a goal; also called a "seven-metre throw".
