Peripheral Component Interface. The PCI can be found by opening your computer. The slot is an internal opening within your desktop computer into which additional computer components can be inserted. A PCI slot can be identified by its white color, size (about 3 inches) and location (usually next to the internal modem card or other internal game cards). Peripheral Component Interconnect. Your PC may have one or more PCI slots available for use with FastAccess Service. One of your available PCI slots may be used to install an internal DSL modem to connect directly with FastAccess Service. Alternatively, a Network Interface Card (NIC) may be installed in the PCI slot to connect with FastAccess DSL via an external DSL Ethernet modem.
Connection slot to a type of expansion bus found in most newer personal computers. Most video capture cards require this type of connection.
