Mike Johnson is an American bassist. He replaced Lou Barlow in Dinosaur Jr in 1989 and played with the band primarily in live performance, although he also contributed his talents to much of Dinosaur Jr's releases between 1991 and 1997.He later went on to be part of the Mark Lanegan band and then contributed to the Queens of the Stoneage "project".
Mike Johnson also known as Michael Johnson, started target shooting in 2002, his first International competition was Oceania 2002, where he competed against other SH2 shooters, Michael ended up with a 4th placing and a determination that he would one day be New Zealand's first Paralympic Gold Medalist Shooter. This was achieved at the 2004 Athens Paralympics where Michael shot 600 out of 600 points setting a new World Record to put him in 1st place going into the final, he then shot 104.3 to win the Gold Medal for New Zealand in the SH2 Standing Air event.
