One of the most important goddess of the Irish mythology, the Epona of Gaul and the Rhiannon of Wales. We can find her name in several myths. First, she is Nemed’s wife. After, being Crunnchu, she have a race with Ulates while she was pregnant. She gave birth to twins (Emain Macha) and put a spell on Ulates: each year, during nine days and nine nights, they have to suffer the pregnant sickness, this during nine times nine generations. The third Macha was Aedh’s daughter. This king reigned with Dithorba and Cimbaeth. When Aedh died, the two other didn’t want of Macha on the throne with them. She defeated them, married Cimbaeth and changed Dithorba in a slave.
