"Lua" is a single produced by Bright Eyes in October 2004. It, along with "Take It Easy (Love Nothing)" took the top two spots on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Sales chart, something that had not been accomplished since 1997 with the release of two songs with Puff Daddy (which were "I'll Be Missing You" featuring Faith Evans and Puff Daddy featured, with Mase, on the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Mo Money Mo Problems"). Originally appearing on the I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning album, the song deals with two teens as they struggle through depression, addiction, and the interminable night.
