In SNA, a session between two logical units (LUs) in an SNA network. It provides communication between two end users, or between an end user and an LU services component.
A 327x display station screen that is time-shared between two sessions concurrently. The LU-LU session takes place between the user and some application program. It is indicated by the absence of a "stick-man" symbol in the operator information area (OIA) and by a nonzero primary logical unit (LU) ID in the queue element (QEL). See SSCP-LU session.
