(Sorbian/Lusatian: Lipsk) is the largest city in the federal state of Saxony in Germany with a population of over 504,000. The name is derived from the Slavic word Lipsk, which means "settlement where the linden trees stand". It is situated at the confluence of the Rivers Pleiße, White Elster and Parthe.
Leipzig is a Just Intonation library. It makes it easy for a programmer writing a music application to experiment with Just Intonation tunings, thus freeing him from the conventional equal temperament tuning system.
