A Greek word (pronounced Koy-no-NEE-ah). It was used in the Christian Scriptures (New Testament) to describe the early Pauline Christian church. It means " communication," " fellowship", or " communion."

The Parish Life Committee/Koinonia Support Fellowship consists of five Parish Life Groups and their leaders. Members of FLC are assigned to a Parish Life Group and actively participate or contribute financially to their Group's activities. The groups host the refreshments during Sunday coffee hours as well as help plan events such as the annual picnic and Advent Smörgåsbord.
