The level of a substance (such as glucose) in the blood in the kidney, above which it will be spilled into the urine. Also called renal threshold.
Level at which sugar "spills" over into urine. Explained in Chapter 1.
The point at which the blood is holding too much of a substance such as glucose (sugar) and the kidneys "spill" the excess sugar into the urine.
