Jif is a brand of peanut butter made by The J.M. Smucker Co., which purchased the name from Procter & Gamble in 2001. It debuted in 1958 and became very popular among kids and adults alike.

Jif is a brand of lemon juice sold in the United Kingdom and Ireland, by Reckitt & Colman. Notable for its unique plastic lemon containers usually known as "jiffy lemons" or "jif lemons", it is also sold in bottles. A well-known advertising campaign introduced the catch-phrase "Jif lemon day (don't forget the pancakes)", due to the popularity of lemon juice (and specifically Jif) with pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.

In JetNet and BEA Tuxedo applications, an interface file containing service information used in client/server processing. In BEA Tuxedo, it also provides queue information. The service information in the JIF is used by clients when requesting services, and by servers when responding to them.
