Included Angle is the combination of SAI and camber. Viewed from the front, the included angle is SAI plus camber if the camber is positive. If the camber is negative the included angle is SAI minus camber. If a side to side variation greater than ± 1.5° exists, check for vehicle damage. Angle + Camber = Included Angle (IA)
The included angle is double the cutting angle.
an angle created by two sides of a triangle
The angle formed by the two facets of a cutting edge.
The angle between the planes of the fusion faces of parts to be welded.
The sum of the camber and SAI angles in a front suspension. This angle is measured indirectly and is used primarily to diagnose bent suspension parts such as spindles and struts.
Sum of the kingpin or ball-joint inclination angle and the camber angle of a vehicle's front wheel. The sum of the camber angle added to the steering axis-inclination angle. The angle included between the outer surfaces of the link-plate contours of a silent chain that meshes with the sprocket tooth form.
