The only metals considered textbook hypoallergenic are surgical steel, niobium, titanium, and pure gold, (not even 14k gold). Many people can wear sterling silver, but cannot wear surgical steel wires, so there is no perfect answer. I always label my findings as to the type of metal, and can work with individual needs.
Although Nautica watches have stainless steel case backs and bracelets, they are not hypoallergenic.
In the strictest sense means without fragrance, but more broadly refers to products that are unlikely to cause skin irritation.
