A chart or graph showing the change in flow over time for a particular stream or river.
a graph indicating the flow (discharge), stage (level), velocity, or other characteristics of flowing water at a given location over time
A graphical representation of stage or discharge at a point on a stream as a function of time.
A graph showing how a river or creek's discharge changes with time.
a record showing the changes in flow of a river over time.
A flooding pattern shown as a continuous curve of water depth based on daily depth values.
Hydrograph - A graph which illustrates a specific hydrologic measurement, such as water level, discharge or velocity, over a period of time.
a graph showing variation in the water depth or discharge in a stream or channel, over time, at a specific point along a stream.
The variation of the flow of liquids over time.
A graph of runoff rate, inflow rate, or discharge rate, past a specific point over time.
a chart showing, most often, river stage (height of the water above an arbitrary altitude) and streamflow (amount of water, usually in cubic feet per second)
a graph of the volume and timing of streamflow discharge measured at a certain point in the watershed
a graph that shows changes in discharge of a river or stream at a given point over time
a graph that shows changes in discharge or river stage over time
a graph that shows facts about the discharge of a river
a graph that shows how a river discharge varis over time in a river system
a plot of discharge against time
a plot of streamflow against time or date
a plot of water levels versus time
a plot showing the variation in the discharge of a stream over time
Graph showing variation of water elevation, velocity, streamflow, or other property of water with respect to time.
A graph that shows water level changes over time for a specific body of water
A representation of water discharge over time.
a chart recording the changing level of water, as in a reservoir, stream, or river.
Graph of variation of stream flow over time.
Graphical representation of either surface stream discharges or water-level fluctuations in wells.
graph of discharge versus time.
A graph that shows the elevation of groundwater as a function of time.
a continous graph showing the properties of streamflow with respect to time.
A plot of stage or flow vs. time.
a graph which illustrates hydrologic measurements over a period of time, such as water level, discharge or velocity List of Glossary Terms
A chronological graphic record of stream discharge or water level (stage) at a given point on a stream (a graph of discharge or stage vs. time).
A graph that shows some property of groundwater or surface water as a function of time.
A device which records or charts the depth of water, as in a well, or flow, as in a stream.
a graphic representation of water flows through a basin showing stage, flow, velocity and other properties of water with respect to time.
A graph of river flow during a given time period, often seasonal or annual. A hydrograph typically shows mean (average) daily stream flows, in cubic feet per second (cfs).
a plot of lake levels versus time
Graph of flow (cfs) versus time at a particular location. The area under the hydrograph is equal to the total volume of water passing the point.
A graph showing for a given point on a stream the discharge, stage (depth), velocity, or other property of water with respect to time.
A graph showing the changes in discharge of a stream or river, or the changes in water levels of a well with the passage of time.
a graph showing changes in flow or stage of a stream, river or lake over time.
Seasonal water flow pattern.
A graph illustrating changes in the rate of flow from a catchment with time
A graph showing the stage, flow, velocity, or other property of water with respect to the passage of time. Hydrographs of wells show the changes in water levels during the period of observation.
A graph of the rate of runoff plotted against time for a point on a channel.
A record and graphical representation of discharge as a function of time at a specific location, for example, the discharge at a point in a stream or the discharge from a pumping well.
A graphic representation of stream discharge over a given period of time.
There are two meanings for hydrographs both coming from hydro- meaning water, and -graph meaning chart. A hydrograph plots the discharge of a river over time. This can be in repsonse to single event such as a flood.
