A cooperative group that makes decisions, enforces CC&R's, and directs common area maintenance on behalf of a subdivision, condominium, or planned community.
An association of people who own homes in a given area, usually formed by the builder, for the purpose of maintaining or improving the quality of the area. Required by statute in some states for Condominiums, Townhouses and Planned Unit Developments and the builder's as well as the duties of the association are controlled by statute.
A nonprofit association comprised of homeowners in a subdivision who are responsible for enforcing the covenants, conditions, restrictions and managing other community affairs.
An organization of homeowners residing within a particular development whose major purposes is to maintain and provide community facilities and services for the common enjoyment of the residents.
