Definitions for "Handouts"
Handouts are smaller versions of your slides that are printed and can be distributed to the audience.
Printouts prepared for your audience, including slides, outlines, and notes.
A written summary of the presentation that is distributed to the audience before, during or after the presentation. Handouts will reinforce important information, summarize action items for the audience to follow up on and supply supporting data you don't want to clutter your visual aids.
Informational sheets handed out by the director that are meant to be taken home to the parents, but magically disappear before the students arrive home. Do not be afraid to ask your student if he/she has seen any of these.
