An employer's broad and active efforts to assure that all aspects of its affirmative action plan work together as a whole. The projected results of such efforts are required, under Revised Order No. 4, to be measured by goals and timetables.
Per Public Resources Code section 41850 (c)(1)(B)(i), good faith efforts means all reasonable and feasible efforts by a city, county, or regional agency to implement those programs or activities identified in its source reduction and recycling element or household hazardous waste element, or alternative programs or activities that achieve the same or similar results. Please see the code for more detailed definitions. The Board has adopted detailed enforcement guidelines for evaluating agencies that fail to implement their plans or fail to achieve required diversion rates.
