Definitions for "Foul Hand"
A hand that is ruled unplayable because of an irregularity, such as being found with too many or two few cards, having been mixed with cards of other players or the muck, having fallen off the table, etc. Compare to dead hand.

a seven-card deal in Pai Gow that a player has failed to divide properly into highest and second-highest hands. For example, if a player places his/er two best cards in the second-highest hand, s/he has created a foul hand. A foul hand automatically loses in some casinos. See also dead hand.
