Fatale was a comic book published by Broadway Comics in 1995 starring Desirée Hopewell, the female protagonist known eponymously as Fatale. According to creator Jim Shooter, Fatale was inspired from men and women comparing their experiences with strong women. The aim was to create as much realism in the character as possible while portraying a strong and resourceful woman.
