A sub-type of acute myelogenous leukemia in which in its initial phase the leukemic cells are composed principally of erythroblasts often with very striking structural aberrations.
An abnormal condition characterized by proliferation of erythroblastic and myeloblastic cells.
DiGuglielmo syndrome in chronic form; blood dyscrasia characterized by the neoplastic proliferation of abnormal erythroblastic cells. As erythroleukemia progresses, the erythroid element becomes less obvious and the disease takes on the morphological picture of acute myelocytic or myelomonocytic leukemia.
