Dilbert is known for its satirical humor about a white-collar, micromanaged office, featuring the engineer Dilbert as the title character. The strip has spawned several books, an animated television series, a computer game, and hundreds of Dilbert-themed merchandise items.
Dilbert is the eponymous main character of the Dilbert comic strip. He has a rare condition characterized by an extreme intuition about all things mechanical and electrical, an idea that was explored in the animated television episode titled "The Knack". He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with an Electrical Engineering diploma and is an engineer.
